Tambest Oy is a leading glass factory with a high degree of processing, which was founded in 1984. Modern production machines together with continuous product and operating method development guarantee top-quality glass products for even the most demanding needs. Our modern factory is located in Forssa, along Highway 2, with good transport connections.
FLOAT
SAFETY GLASS
Safety glass protects people and property from damage, and it is made by laminating, tempering or combining these types of glass. Safety glass is used in sites where additional protection from vandalism or fall risks is needed. Tambest Oy uses only high-quality raw materials and tested products in glass processing.

Tambest Oy’s glass bending expertise is top class in the world. Innovative, modern and versatile production machinery, combined with the staff’s experience in glass bending, guarantee the first-class dimensional accuracy and optical quality of our products.
BALLISTIC GLASS
AND PROTECTION
Bulletproof glass, commonly called bullet protection glass or ballistic glass, is made of transparent materials specially designed to withstand the penetration of bullets. Tambest Oy’s product development aims for the lightest bulletproof structure on the market, and currently we have tested the BR 4 and BR 6 level products.

Tambest Oy follows a comprehensive responsibility programme in all its operations. Environmental responsibility is the core of our production. All glass waste is directed to Uusioaines Oy for processing and film waste to industrial reuse. We participate in the HAMK waste stream programme and in the Finland Chamber of Commerce’s carbon footprint calculation programme.

SHOPPING CENTRE WROCKLAVIA
The thermally insulated argon-filled curved tempered facade glass was realised for the largest facade builder in Poland, Defor, which belongs to the large French Goyer group.
hotel sofitel
Hotel Sofitel is an upscale hotel operating in Paris, France. Tambest implemented curved 2K facade insulating glass for the project, using SaintGobain reflective glass as glass.
THE DEUTSCHES HISTORISCHES MUSEUM
The Deutsches Historisches Museum is a national historical museum of Germany presenting German history in Berlin. The site was designed by architect I. M. Pei, and the facade of the building is dominated by challenging, cone-shaped argon-filled insulating glasses.
CENTRAL LIBRARY OODI
Helsinki’s central library Oodi is a city library branch in Helsinki near Töölönlahti, on the edge of Kansalaistori square. Oodi’s curved facades contain both concave and convex insulating glasses. As glass, it has the iron-free Guardian climaquard argon-filled laminated coated glasses.

Environmental responsibility is the core of our production. All glass waste is directed to Uusioaines Oy for processing and film waste to industrial reuse. We also accept glass waste from our customer companies.
We participate in the HAMK waste stream programme, which aims to reduce material waste and energy use in manufacturing. The carbon footprint of our operations has been calculated. 99.9 per cent of waste glass is recycled, and 99.8 per cent of the interlayer film is recycled.
Our ethical responsibility guides our activities to ethical principles and moral conduct in business. It includes honest communication, anti-bribery activities, supporting fair competition and ensuring the ethical production of products or provision of services.

Tambest Oy is a certified manufacturer of SentryGlas® laminated glass, and our machinery and expertise allow us to create even the most challenging glass structures.
The SentryGlas® interlayer from the Kuraray’s AIS Structural product family is five times stronger and up to 100 times stiffer than conventional laminating materials. With this kind of strength, the glass can be a more active structural element in the building envelope, opening up design possibilities that didn’t exist before.
Besides its strength, SentryGlas® ionoplast interlayer retains its clarity – even after years of service. Unlike other interlayers, SentryGlas® ionoplast interlayer is much less vulnerable to moisture exposure or yellowing over time.
