Pyrolytic Coating Technology
A pyrolytic coating integrated into the surface of toughened glass functions as a heating element when supplied with electricity (AC or DC, 0–230 V).
The heating output is dimensioned according to project requirements, and the glass surface temperature is controlled through the applied voltage.
The system can be equipped with thermostatic controls and integrated into building automation systems, providing uniform heat distribution and condensation-free performance.
Laminated Heated Glass Elements
Alternatively, laminated glass can incorporate a thin metal mesh or conductive coating laminated within a PVB or EVA interlayer.
Using hybrid heating technology, the pyrolytic coating and laminated conductive layer can be combined to provide highly efficient heating performance, for example in military vehicle glazing applications.
