Tambest bullet-resistant glass provides top-level ballistic protection for vehicles, marine vessels and structures. Our glazing solutions comply with strict international standards and provide outstanding protection against bullets and fragmentation.
Integrated spall protection (non-splintered construction) prevents hazardous glass fragmentation and minimises risks in protected environments. In addition, available heating solutions — including conductive pyrolytic coatings and laminated heating film technology — ensure reliable glazing performance in marine and vehicle applications.
Structural features
Temperature-tested structure
Bullet-resistant glazing provides top-level ballistic protection for vehicles, marine vessels and structures. The solutions comply with EN 1063 BR4–BR7 standards and provide effective protection against bullets and fragmentation.
Integrated spall protection
The glazing structure prevents RF signal leakage and protects environments against electromagnetic interference. The solution is suitable for applications requiring TEMPEST-level shielding.
Heating
Blast-resistant glazing effectively protects against explosion pressure waves and fragmentation hazards in accordance with the SFS-EN 13541:2012 standard. Available in ER1–ER4 protection classes.
Ballistic standards
Tambest bullet-resistant glazing is tested in accordance with international ballistic standards defining protection levels against bullets and fragmentation in vehicles, structures and protected environments.
