Tambest brings employees together for strategy and development day
Tambest organised a strategy and development day on 25 June 2026, bringing together the entire Tambest team. During the day, participants were introduced to Tambest’s 2026–2029 strategy and its implementation, while working together to shape the company’s future.
Through interactive workshops, employees identified the company’s strengths, development opportunities and practical actions to support the continuous improvement of our operations. The workshops encouraged open discussion and active employee participation, providing valuable insights into how Tambest can continue to grow and develop in the years ahead.
One of the strongest messages to emerge from the discussions was that Tambest’s greatest strength is its people. Professional expertise, a positive working atmosphere, flexibility and strong teamwork provide the foundation on which the company’s future is built.
Involving employees in the strategy process strengthens our shared direction and creates the conditions for the continuous development of our operations.
The strategy and development day was held at the Häme University of Applied Sciences premises in the historic Forssa Spinning Mill. The workshop was facilitated by Mirva Viitamäki and Kirsi Sippola from the Internationalisation as a Strength (ESR+) project.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to a productive and inspiring day.
Together, we continue building Tambest’s future.

STANAG 4569 AEP-55 Level 3 performance verified as part of Tambest’s testing programme
Tambest’s ballistic protection testing and product development project continues to progress according to plan, with the results of an extensive testing programme demonstrating the progress achieved through the development work.
During the development phase, a comprehensive testing programme was carried out in accordance with STANAG 4569 AEP-55 Volumes 1, 2 and 3. The programme also included the required temperature testing and Fragment Simulating Projectile (FSP) testing across multiple protection levels.
One example of the results achieved is the successful verification of STANAG 4569 AEP-55 Level 3 performance under the following conditions:
- High-temperature testing at +49 °C
- Cold-environment testing at -32 °C
- Testing against a 20 mm Fragment Simulating Projectile (FSP) threat
The testing programme resulted in compliant performance and multiple certifications, supporting the development of advanced solutions for defence and security applications.
These results demonstrate Tambest’s long-term commitment to ballistic protection development and further validate the performance of its bullet-resistant glazing solutions in demanding defence and security environments.

Tambest’s lamination capabilities expand

Our production has been enhanced with an EVA lamination oven, bringing increased flexibility and new possibilities for laminated glass solutions.
The excellent moisture resistance and adhesion properties of EVA interlayers enable a wider range of structures, including the lamination of fabrics, veneers, metal meshes, as well as smart films and shielding films between glass layers.
At the same time, PVB lamination is carried out on our clean lamination line using two autoclaves, and we are a certified SentryGlas® laminator.
This combination allows us to deliver optimal solutions for both
– visually refined interior glass applications
– and demanding structural projects requiring the highest levels of safety and stiffness.
Our comprehensive lamination expertise and advanced production capabilities enable us to execute even the most demanding projects efficiently – without compromising on quality.
